Brain Dump 5/20/19

Hey everyone! I haven’t posted in a little bit, but I thought it’d be quick, fun and easy to write a brain dump. If you don’t know what a brain dump is, you can check out my last one, called “Brain Dump 4/8/19.” I’ve actually seen a few different definitions for it, but the way I described it is how I define it.

I have been SO tired recently. I don’t exactly know why, I’ve been getting pretty much the same amount of sleep as usual. I’m also just so excited for summer! My last day of school is this Friday, May 24th, and I’m so excited to be done for a few months. Yes, I have it easier since I’m homeschooled, but I still do schoolwork and it’s still hard! There are a lot of things that I haven’t mentioned on my blog yet, but one of the biggest ones is LearningRX. I go to a program called LearningRX (which I just call LRX) every Monday and Friday from 12:45 to 2:15, with 30 minute home practices on Tuesday-Thursday. If you want to know more about it you can Google it, but it’s essentially brain training. It’s really hard, and I mostly dislike it. I like that there are results coming from it, but I hate how time consuming and difficult it is. My least favorite thing about it is that I have to continue it over the summer. I don’t want this whole post to be me complaining, so I’ll end my mini rant by saying that I am happy I’ll be done with it at the end of this summer (yay)! On a more positive note, I’m hoping to post more during the summer! I was on a roll for a while, until I fell into a little bit of writers’ block and didn’t know what to write about. However, I have a fun Columbus-related post that I’m planning to post this week! I really am interested in what you want to see and chances are I’ll post it. Switching topics again, I have been trying so hard recently to be as productive as possible in the morning. I have a bad habit that has lasted wayyy to long of sleeping in and just waking up, slapping on makeup and clothes, and starting my day. However, today my morning went more like this: ate breakfast, picked my outfit, did yoga (I know, weird!!), showered, did my hair and makeup, brushed my teeth, then started my day. And, all in about the same amount of time as usual. As much as I hated it, I didn’t spend half as much time as I usually do staring at my phone. Instead I stayed focused and got so much done and felt so happy after! I think I’ll end this post on this good note.
